The ENHANCE project was represented at PCIM Europe 2026, one of the world’s leading events in power electronics, intelligent motion, renewable energy and energy management, held in Nuremberg, Germany, from 9 to 11 June 2026.
During the conference, Riga Technical University (RTU), a partner of the ENHANCE project, presented the poster “Enhanced Cascaded Voltage Control of Interleaved Boost Converter for PV MPPT”. The work was showcased during the poster session, providing an opportunity to share research results and exchange ideas with experts from academia and industry working on advanced energy conversion systems and renewable energy applications.
PCIM Europe serves as a major international platform connecting researchers, technology developers and industrial stakeholders across the entire power electronics value chain. The 2026 edition brought together more than 650 exhibitors from 27 countries and featured an extensive conference programme with over 500 technical presentations and posters, highlighting the latest advances in power electronics, energy conversion, semiconductors, e-mobility, energy storage and renewable energy technologies.
A key highlight of the 2026 edition was the introduction of the new AI & Data Centers Stage, reflecting the growing role of artificial intelligence and data-driven solutions in the field. The conference also featured dedicated sessions on wide-bandgap semiconductors, advanced converter technologies, energy-efficient systems, and emerging applications in electric mobility and sustainable energy.
RTU’s participation in PCIM Europe 2026 contributed to increasing the visibility of the ENHANCE project within the international research and innovation community while fostering knowledge exchange with leading researchers and industry representatives working towards the next generation of energy storage and power conversion technologies.
