A partner of the ENHANCE project, BEIA, participated in TETRAFEST 2025, the first Technology Transfer Festival organised in the Bucharest region. The event took place from 9 to 11 October 2025 at the Universitatea Națională de Știință și Tehnologie POLITEHNICA București.
BEIA is an R&D‑intensive SME based in the Balkan region, specialised in cloud communications and IoT telemetry. The organisation was represented by George Suciu, R&D and Innovation Manager, and Maria Niculae, Research Assistant, whose work focuses on sustainability, innovation and technology transfer, with a strong interest in collaborative, high‑impact solutions.
During TETRAFEST 2025, the BEIA team carried out networking activities in the framework of the ENHANCE project, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders from the innovation and technology transfer ecosystem, including researchers, students, startups, investors, universities, research centres and public authorities. The festival acted as a key meeting point aimed at building bridges between research, innovation and the business sector, while fostering connections to support deep‑tech startups, attract investment and accelerate the deployment of technologies in fields such as green energy, smart agriculture, sustainable chemistry and digitalisation.
The event brought together three core components essential for strengthening innovation ecosystems:
- an exhibition space showcasing technologies, prototypes, products and projects with industrial impact potential;
- conferences and workshops addressing challenges in innovation and technology transfer through expert insights and best‑practice examples;
- a virtual matchmaking platform (b2match) facilitating B2B meetings and the creation of new collaborations.
Overall, the networking activities developed by BEIA at TETRAFEST 2025 contributed to reinforcing the visibility and outreach of the ENHANCE project, expanding its international network of contacts and identifying future collaboration opportunities, fully aligned with ENHANCE’s objective of promoting robust, collaborative and impact‑driven innovation ecosystems across Europe.
